Pierre Armand Kleykamp (January 30, 1921 - June 10, 1984) was a designer. He has supplied furniture to the Goed Wonen Groep and crafted several pieces for the interior of Schipol Airport's International Departure Hall. ==History== Kleykamp was born in Brussels, Belgium to Cornelis Gabriel Kleykamp and Louise Marie Jeanne Joos. His parents were both originally from The Hague, in the Netherlands. His paternal grandparents were Pieter and Ermina Kleykamp, founders of the . During the Second World War, he studied Interior and Furniture Design at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in The Hague. Immediately after graduation, he joined Wim den Boon and Hein Stolle as a partner in their design firm, "Groep &". He also became secretary to the Design and Architecture group, OPBOUW. Both of these were based in Rotterdam. From 1946 to 1947, Kleykamp was retained by the cruise company, Holland-America Line to provide aesthetic advice on the restoration of their flagship Nieuw-Amsterdam and the design of the ship's movie theater. During that same period, from December 24, 1946 to January 26, 1947, he was given the opportunity to exhibit his works in his parent's hometown in an exhibition titled "Den Haag bouwt op".
